Contact lens safety
Patients looking up contact lens safety in Moreno Valley (The District / Town Circle, inside LensCrafters) and Chino (inside Sam’s Club #6610) can start with a Fenix Lumi eye exam. We are independent doctors of optometry — not Sam’s Club and not LensCrafters. Contacts are medical devices. Water (pools, showers, lakes), sleeping in daily lenses, and topping off solution raise infection risk, including sight-threatening ulcers. A red, painful contact-lens eye is a same-day medical exam — stop the lens.
- A contact lens prescription is not the same as a glasses prescription
- Overwear is a medical problem, not a willpower problem
- Specialty and scleral wearers get extra hygiene coaching
