We are independent doctors of optometry — not Sam’s Club and not LensCrafters. UV adds up in cataracts, pterygium, and lid skin. Wrap-around UV 400 beats a dark lens with no rating. We prescribe; retail partners nearby sell many frames. Polarization helps driving glare; it is not the same as UV blocking.
